Default swap or new head

Ok I have only had my teg for 6 months before that I had a talon I got rid of that because I left for BMT. So when I got back I really wanted teg and got one well I only got an LS cuz I couldn't find a good GSR for the right price and couldn't find a typeR for sale in utah. So my question is should I just put a vtec head on and build it up, or save up and just do the ITR swap.

The ITR swap will probally be better, but if you know someone who can do good work cheap the head swap if build right could be better.

If you just swap the VTEC head make sure you perform the neccessary upgrades to the rest of the engine as well.

Basically if is done right the head swap is will be probally be just as good, but cheaper. The ITR swap will be better if you can not find someone who you trust to do the head swap, or if you can find the engine fairly cheap.

The head swap is a good alternative, but if you can afford it the engine swap should be more reliable

Maybe, but you might be able to do more work with a swap and eventually get more power out of it.

but according to the origional post he probally would do better using her extra money to upgrade the head swap. Just make sure it is done right

The B16 head is a pretty easy cross over (with the exception of making VTEC work) and cheaper than a full ITR or even a GSR motor. If you don't spray or boost it you'll be fine.
