I've encountered my first problem with my dc. For some reason my trunk won't open. When i flip the little switch/lever to open my trunk, all i hear is a lil electric motor noise but the trunk won't unlatch. Has this happened to anyone else? Whats broken and how do i fix it?

You mean the lever inside the car, not the button on the remote right? That's weird, all that connects the lever and the trunk release is a long steel cable. I know that they stretch out overtime, but they should get worse and worse, not just fail one day. That noise you're hearing would probably be the mechanism that opens the trunk from the remote (I've never owned a car that had a remote), but I don't know why it would be coming on when you pull the trunk lever.
