Talking K&n Typhoon Intake kit

Whats up everybody? I've just started lookin into buying and intake for my 01 gsr, my buddy told me to buy a comptech intake but i'm having a hard time finding one and the one's i've found are pretty expensive. I found a K&n Typhoon intake kit and a k&n fipk for decent prices on summit racing. What are your feelings on those intakes? I had a FIPK kit on my v8 truck and I really liked it and I'd like to keep everything carb legal. I'd appreciate all the feedback and any suggestions you guys have.

K&N is an awesome product. You may also want to try AEM or Injen as well.

I've always been a fan of K&N Intakes. Also I'd suggest looking at the Secret Weapon-R. My friend had one and it worked, and sounded, great.

K&Ns are fantastic. The only other I would consider is AEM. I do realize comptech makes an air intake, but they dont specialize in making them. (They make a great supercharger though)

I think comptech also uses dry (non-oiled) filters. You may want to research this but I would think oiled filters would keep finer dust and debris out of the engine better.

I put the TYPHOON on my 06 350z and it made a huge difference in power and they last a lifetime. I just put the new one on my new s2000. You'll love this product.
