All of the official members and the monirator make very good points about cai's being more of a boost in hp but i havent seen anyone realize that the filter is in the front air damn and on most hondas ive seen that people have went through the trouble of putting any good money in to making them fast have the front slamed to the ground. That would make the filter about 3" off the ground and thats about the size of most potholes were i live. unless you leave the car a factory ride higth i think that water will be an issue but i dont enginer i just work on cars lol

Most people automatically take in consideration of hydrolock, I know anyone who is a big car enthusiast has heard of someone who has had their car hydrolock from a CAI. I'd personally rather have a SRI just because you get a quicker response and like Beaters said you get a bigger increase in low end power since everyone isn't going to be driving around at 6800+ Rpm.
