Default Radio & A/C Blower Problem

I've got a 93' Integra and recently the A/C blower and the radio went out. It's weird because the Radio works when you turn the ignition switch to the first acc position, but ts does not work when your actually start the car. The blower works in the second ignition position. What's going on? The car runs fine. Could it be an ignition switch problem or has a relay or fuse gone bad? The fuses look fine. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.

ok...the radio actually has to + connections...one for accessory and one for on. With it only working on the accessory position possibly the on wire has become dislodged or disconnected.

Your ac blower should only run with the car running...it shouldnt run on accessory.

It is sounding like a wire from the radio has rubbed or gotten hot near a blower control wire.

What you need to do is pull the radio out and check the radio and blower control wires. You may have some damaged wires in there. If it was a blown fuse it would not work regardless of key position and radios do not use relays, atleast ones made since gas replaced steam motors!

I didn't mean a relay inside the radio, I mean't was there one control controlling the accessories. Please excuse my error. I suppose not all of us mechanically inclined. Thanks for your expert advice.
