Question LS/V-Tec Questions...

Too start off I apologize for probably asking questions that have already been answered. But there are questions I can’t seem to find answers too and any help from you guys would be greatly appreciated!!
To start off I have a 93 Integra LS for a daily driver and a 90 Integra for a parts car. My 1990 has 180,000 on the engine and runs like new. I’m seriously considering a ls/vtec conversion. Here are my questions:

Piston to valve clearance ->is this a issue at all or does that depend on what vtec head i do the conversion with.
ECU - Would I need to run a GSR ecu or would it be possible to run Apexi AFC Neo to control vtec? If the apexi wouldn’t work and i would have a get a GSR ecu and from what I understand will need to get a wiring conversion kit.

The things that I already know I need is a conversion kit to run a oil supply line to the vtec head. I guess my main concern is the electrical for the vtec. All work is going to be done on my parts car so when everything is in place and running I would pull it out and drop it in my daily driver. I am probably missing things and a list of the things I will need to complete this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again!!

Default

you can use a 1992-1993 gsr ecu it came stock in the da9 no wiring harness needed piston to valve clearence will be no problem at all try to get a b18a1 head while you have the motor apart swap on a set of integra type r pistons you'll have the trim
.10 off the valves to make clearence it'll bump compression up
dont spend money on the vafc instead get a set of pistons unfortunatly there is no company that makes rods or a crank for the b18a1 i own one and cant find anyone that makes them good luck though anymore questions send me an email
