[quote=deVic]Sorry that 1% is right lol. They made auto b16's in japan

Listen convert to stick. Honda makes terrible automatic trannies, they are geared soooo poorly and you wont have fun driving that ****. Learning to drive stick is as easy as taking a ****.

thanks for correcting me but can you send me a link or where to pick up a auto tranny for my girls civic. i have a b16 i gotta get outta the garage and her car needs a new motor(d16z6). she hates standard vehicles so throw me a link on the auto b16 trannies. and i know i can get a ls or gsr auto tranny for it but i want the b16 so the shorter gearing.these are the only b16 trannyies i can find http://www.jspecautosports.com/catal...spx?cat_id=310

go with what devic said and keep it a b18, the b16 have little torque and i think are best in crx's.

10 seconds is insane for a honda and deff wouldn't be a daily driver, you'ld be beating corvettes, porshes, vipers, etc...

1. Convert to stick, youll need: shift linkage, pedal assembly, tranny, manual ECU
2. Put a obd1 vtec head on like: 92-93 (b17 gsr), 94-95 (b18c or b18c1 (US) GSR), or a 92-95 (b16a)
3. Put the vtec conversion kit in.
4. Make sure you put the corresponding ECU to the head you got.. so get a GSR ECU if you got a GSR head for it.
5. Put bolt ons on, like intake, header, exhaust, high flow cat. Lower the car too, helps for traction, and most importantly, a sick set of tires is quite possibly the best mod (besides improving driver skill).
6. If bolt ons arent enough for you... turbo it.. the LS bottom end takes very well to boost.
Like said above you can either convert your car to MT or sell your car and buy a MT integra. Honda auto trans can handle that much power.

I would sale it and get a manual or switch it to one. Go LS vtec I bought the GSR head for mine it came with everything. Intake manifold ported and polished, cam shaft, valve cover all the good stuff I paid 600$ for the head I bought the LSvtec conversion kit 350$, accel ignition system 300$, I got a GSR ecu 75$, I bought Type R pistons and GSR rods I plan on going for a high compression engine. I don't plan on putting a turbo on or anything I am trying to get all motor as fast as I can without it. I also bought AEM cams, DC sport headers. Thats how I went, but I have a manual.

the only thing u can do if you dont want to conver it to stick the only option u have it to turbo it.. a swap it not an option b16 will make it slower and gsr is too expensive.. ls-vtec will give out in 6 month in a automatic care and the car of of a ls vtec motor is high! i would just turbo it can pick up a a complete kit for like 6 bills..

on ebay

intake mani 2 bills

turbo about 150

down pipe 1 bill

inter cooler 1 bill

bov 20 bucks

fmu 1 bill

pipe kit 1 bill

and ur set all u need to turbo ur car

If you're drag racing, then an auto would be better. They drop their torque better and don't lose momentum when they shift. If you also want to road race, then do a stick. I guess the auto would need to be built up, but I've never driven a Honda auto.
