OBD1 VS OBD2 & Smogging - HondaClub.com

I have what my shop and I understand to be a '95 B18C gsr engine swapped into a CRX. The info we have says it is an OBD1. The local smog referee thinks it is an OBD2.

Any information out there to give me a firm answer? Thanks!

95+ is OBD2.

look to see if there two o2 censors if there is then its obd2 and if its there only one its obd 1. there should be one on the headers and one of the calatic converter. thats an obd 2 a obd 1 only has one on the headers

acutally its 96+

91- and down its obd-0

92-95 obd-1

96-98 obd-2

99-04 obd-2 second gen

05+ obd-2 third gen

obd o has like a clear plug

obd 1 has grey plugs

obd 2 has the same plugs but his a **** load more

obd 2 second gen has even more plugs

obd 2 third has white plugs
