Post cat back exhaust

Whats up everybody? I went to dualtone in Pb and got quoted for a custom magnaflow cat back exhaust system for 290 installed plus the cost of a stainless steel tip if i wanted one. Thats with muffler and 2.25 mandrel bent piping. Does that sound like a good deal? It's going on my 01 gsr

What kind of muffler? Refering to chambers... My guess is a dual.

Sounds pretty good. Make sure it's real stainless steel. Stainless looks slightly gray compared to regualr steel.

Make sure its really Mandrel bent, if its not, it can be done cheaper. After I bought my muffler, it was only $115 to install it and for the tip. The muffler was about $100.

That sounds pretty cheap!

Doesn't a magna flow catback usually go for 500-600? I've found that it helps to spend the 15-20% extra to get the best part possible -- I'm not sure what magnaflow you are looking at can you post a pic/ addl details?

Here are a few comparisons if it helps (with the magnaflow):

Magnaflow is a great product, and a custom fit one for $300 with installation sounds good to me

I don't know the specific model I got quoted for. The system is not a bolt on so I'm assuming that's why it's cheaper. The bolt on systems that I saw online were around 400 to 500 dollars.

It's probably a Magnaflow muffler with whatever piping they have in stock. If it's really mandrel bent, that would be a pretty good solution.
