Default Cheap last forever car?

Is is just me, or do these cars last forever? They are also real cheap if you buy them used. It seems that alot of people drive the old 2 door acura integra still.

I personally dont like the look of the car but, like you said, they are real cheap. Id say they are good for the money, but consider a honda civic instead

So how does the acura compare with the civic as far as price goes? Just curious.

Prices are similar, the teg has a slightly higher price tag - but not much.

I have had my Honda Acura Integra Type R now for a little over 6 months and I love every driving minute. When I have to get out of bed at an awfull time in the morning to go to work it makes it a whole lot easyer knowing i'll be going in my ITR. (yes even after six months). The car is a great looker aswell as spot on handling and performance. On the handling point its greatly improved if you stick on some nice rubber...(on the wheels that is :P) If you can afford one of these little Jap rockets I say GO FOR IT. Running costs are a little high as mentioned before but if you need to save a little cash you can still drive it like an old woman for good MPG. What else can I say its a lovely bit of kit. PS did I mention its great?

I agree, the look of this car isn't for me but I have heard they're worth the money.

yeah, not much for the style myself, mainly just the headlights, lol, but what makes a teggy look wicked awesome is a JDM front headlight conversion, love it to death.

Integras have a lot of posibilities when it comes to tuning. As other said, the look is a little "blah" but the JDM front makes it so much better. Integras are a little more $$$ than a civic of the same year, but you have to remember, that you are getting a little more in the integra. Such as a bigger motor, power windows, ac, etc. Motor selection is ok. The LS (B18B) isn't too bad, but if you have the extra $1000-2000, go for the GS-R. Great starting platform for a lot of ways to go (supercharger, turbo, all-motor). I've got a 2000 GS (I wish i would of got the GS-R) but it's been good to me. Clocked in a 82K the other week, and besides the normal maintenence: oil, filter, plugs and other fluids, nothing else has been done. I did put some Kumhos on the stocks to add a little grip when I want to push it, but the car runs great.
