I just recently picked up a '96 Green/Tan Leather Integra GSR 4 door, with 127k miles. I bought it as a daily driver and I really like this car so far. It is stock other than an AEM intake and Magnaflow cat-back. I don't want to go balls out modding the car but I do want to lower it and do some bolt ons. I'm not new to modding cars, just new the the Honda/Acura scene. What are some things I should look out for and be aware of? Any reccomendations on simple tasteful mods? Good to be here by the way the site looks good.

Not much to watch out for on the DC 'Tegs. Maybe a bit of rust , but not much more. Make sure the timing belt has been replaced (should have, but never hurts to double check). There are way to many parts to list for this car, so I'd say pick a goal and build it for that. Tein Super Street coilovers would be a good way to drop the car, and some 16" BBS wheels look nice too (my opinion).

Thanks for the tips, it doesn't have rust, just some clear coat peel. Timing belt was changed at 98k miles, it has a new clutch. A buddy has a '98 front end conversion he wants to sell me so I mgiht do that along with coilovers and maybe a header. Other than that I don't know. I do need a drivers seat though, this one is full of rips.

4 Door Teg is the way to go! I would take one over the 2 door any day because not as many people have them. And on the seat. If you wanna go balls out on some nice seats I would try to find some Recaro Racing seats out of an Integra Type-R. That or just look around on a few forums on the net and get ya some nice OEM replacements that someone swapped out the seats and doesn't want any more.
