Believe it or not I am still running my single owner 1986 Integra. But, am having a hard time finding parts.
I have tried Ebay and worked with a seller I purchased from in the past but cannot assist me with this part. The dealers locally and online do not have the part as well. Can someone help me find a fast idle valve for my 1986 Integra LS manual transmission? Mahalo nui from Hawaii. |

Wow, I thought I was the only one who still had the first year. First gen Integras are pretty rare to begin with (only about 200,000 or less ever made, and many fewer today), so finding parts is really tough. Also, the first gen is pretty much ignored by everyone. I'd say ask a dealer. They can get parts from anywhere in America, so by expanding your network like that, you should find what you are looking for. Just remember, it won't be cheap. But if you do find somewhere that has parts for the car, tell me because I want to restore mine and a lot of stuff needs replacing, and as you know parts are pretty rare (I especially need a rust free body. Living on the East Coast has put holes clear through the floor).

Thanks for your reply. Yes, it is getting tough. My first Ebay success was misleading. I'll let you know if I find anything. My sunroof has taken a beating in the sun like your floor in the snow and salt. Good luck to you!
