dont do turbo.... supercharge it. jackson-racing has great reliable superchargers if you wanna just look around.

stay under 300 whp. More than that and it'll torque steer all over the place.

if you do get over 300 whp i strongly suggest that you get new stronger front axels...and a decently wide set of tires which will help it a lil bit on the steering problem...

my car is putting down 517whp,and i dont torque steer all over the place...

and im still on stock axles, and havent broken one since. Though i havent fully launched the car on my stock axles, but i havent broken any slapping gears, nore launching the car mildly hard. but do have a set of DSS level 3 axles for the track

But i definatly would turbo it vs supercharge it. Getting real power out of a superchaged 4 banger is quite a pain, let along a b18a/b. The most ive ever seen a supercharged honda make was just over 300whp,and that was with internal mods and it was a GSR.I AM NOT knocking a supercharger at all, they are great power adders, etc. im just saying, for room to grow in the future, and if your power goals are more then 250-300whp,then its not the route you want to take.

Turbo it,as much as people will disagree, you can have a reliable turbo honda, ive had 3. Its all about using quality parts, getting it tuned by a reputable tuner, and having a power goal in reach of what the motor is capable of.

Ive seen (and built) plenty of 300+whp turbo hondas, that ran reliably. I built my friends b16 del sol that put down 326whp and 226wtq on just 11 pounds with a t3/to4e,57 trim. Ran perfect, never had a problem, and he DD (daily drove) it. He did end up blowing it up,but that was because he went from 3rd to 2nd racing. not a good idea.....

In all honesty, its ALL about the tune. Ive seen and witnessed 400 and 500whp hondas on a stock block. The reason why they lasted? was the tune. Its not power the kills a motor, its detonation.

The most common cause of engine failure in a (boosted) honda is the ringlands. The ringlands will crack/melt at the first signes of pre-mature combustion (detonation). This can happen at 250whp,or 600whp,its all about the tune....Detonation kills engines....

eh,i could go on,but ill just leave it at that. if you want any suggestions or whatnot,PM me,ill be happy to help. there my .02 cents

I agree, it's all about the tuning. As for your car Peak, how much torque are you making? Integras are pretty good on fighting torque steer, and I don't know what else you've done to your car as far as tire, chassis and suspension, so you may have conquered torque steer in your case. Superchargers are good for gobs of torque, right at idle (which is why the NHRA guys use superchargers and not turbos). Big turbos can't do that down low. I have seen 500 hp supercharged Hondas (K24s), so it is possible. But that motor was also built by Hondata and HASport. Superchargers also like big engines (because they suck up a lot of power), which is why they're so popular with the V8s. For about 300-400 hp, superchargers will have more torque and no lag. Above that, turbos will be easier on the engine, and easier to tune. But at that point, you're also looking away from DD to race car.
