I have an opportunity to buy from an older man, who is the original owner...A 1992 GS-R bone stock with 54K miles. Come with window sticker and all service records. In excellent condition. What would this car sell for on the open market?
Thanks for any help! |

Thanks for the reply He is selling for $5,500.00. I am told he wants that much over book value because it is a rare car…..What is so rare about it? I see a lot of car like it….less then that. 2500 to 3500 ranges…..I do not want to be ripped off No plans on selling. I want it for a driver. I don't nkow much about that car, so I'll post some sense until someone else MAKES sense.
I'm a big bargainer... He wants $5500 and you seen cars at $3500... I say, make him an offer at $4000. If he doesn't take it, go to $4500. I say the limit would be $5000. Never go the full price. My car, the guy was asking $350 for it and I got him down to $150. Crappy advice, I know, but it's better than nothing. Someone who knows about this car, please post. Advice from an all-knowing is better than some from a non-knowing. |

The gs-r had an early VTEC engine, which is why it's rare. Also the mileage is way low. Still, the 2nd gen, DA Integra was pretty poor compared to all the other years. Bargain lower if you can. And look the entire underside over for rust, especially in PA.

I got my 92 GS-R for 1700 and the only problem it had was it was primered. I love it I would try to get him to lower the price, it is definitly a rare car tho. A lot of people dont even know it ever existed or think its just another LS. Any other info you want to know about it just let me know and ill do my best to help you out.

Condition Value
Excellent $3,470 Good $3,120 Fair $2,700 This is what kelleys blue book value said it was worth, yes it has low milage which is awsome, but you have to remember this beast is 16 years old. Older people always try to ask really high no matter how old the car is and most of the time wont budge. But Im sure if you present him with cash and the kelleys blue book value prices, he might change his mind.
