i kno i might sound stupid for saying this but i havent played with engines in a while......can u please explain everything that goes into a ls/vtec change? any recommendations for certain parts for the ls/vtec?

Basically all u need for an ls-vtec is a gsr head gsr tranny(if you want it) and a gsr ecu...all of this will cost u around 300-500 dollars...but its worth it

ok cuz i was told i need a vtec head with a gsr block top end and build it top to bottom....of course that would be good but i didnt think thats all o needed...thanks!

i would go with a b16 motor and then put a jun head on it

LS/VTEC is strong until you turbo it. It's not too hard but needs some machining. There are a lot of little, random parts to buy too (most of the engine accessories). Or you can do some bolt ons. VTEC will add about 30 hp, so it's possible with N/A and bolt ons. A complete article is on sportcompactcarweb.com.
