Default ABS light

My ABS light is on ive herd that the antilock brake modulator solenoid is prone to leaks, which sets an ABS trouble code i was wondering if anyones ever had to deal with that problem and is it hard to fix?

I own a 91 integra just so you kno

thanks

Truthfully, when it comes to brakes I wouldn't mess around. Get it checked. If there is something wrong with your ABS system, you don't want to find out on a patch of ice.

Um, didn't say slam on them. All you have to do is press them sometimes for the ABS to activate. You can reread my post if you want just to be sure, kthanx.

yeah, but the abs is for anti lock, which is more prone under more severe breaking conditions, where you push the brake hard. Under normal light braking procedures, like stop and go trafic and light foot pressure, the abs system doesnt even activate. Thats why it is called anti-lock braking systems, not assisting braking system.

i think the best advice is like everyone else has said and go and get it checked. It could be many possiblities but by going and getting it checked you will know for sure.
