I'm going to buy new spark plug wires for my 95 civic dx coupe (has no engine mods at the moment) and I came across a manufacturer called Nology. They have the most expensive spark plug wires out there but they claim a boost in horsepower and torque. Can anyone confirm whether or not you really do get more bang for your buck? Thanks!

Maybe not, but problematic plugs or wires will cause poor performance and noticable problems. But if its a lot more expensive, it probably isn't worth the money.

If you need an extra .00001 second faster 0-60 go for the expensive ones
otherwise you might just want to get a set of decent reputable plugs / wires if they haven't been replaced in a long time.

I say all of the above are true. If you are looking for a good horsepower increase...save your money and buy a bolt-on or something. Wires are one of those things that add so little of a power increase, that really paying top dollar for one the most advertised names is not worth it unless you are trying to squeeze and extra ounce of horsepower after doing so many other things! However, having good (not the most expensive) wires is worth helping your car run better (better throttle responce).
