Default Acura TL transmission problems

I have a '99 acura TL with 250,000 km on it. I had one of my spark plug coils changed recently. Transmission was changed at 140,000 km. Now transmission doesn't seem to want to go into gear, I can turn the car on and rev it, but it won't move. Sometimes it will slip into gear for a few minutes, but then slip right back out again. Does anyone have any information regarding this problem. Some people have suggested that it is my transmission that needs to be changed, but I'm not sure it is. Also, would anyone know if I '97 transmission would fit it. Thank you

Have you checked the level of the tranny fluid? You might be low or empty.
