My CEL just came on. I recently purchased my 96 Integra and my car just turned over 144 000 km. When it did my CEL came on. The car has been running fine but I was wondering if this was the milage where the light automatically comes on?

Is there a way I can check the code that comes back manually? Or do I have to hook it up to a diagnostics machine?

I don't think it is due to milelage, that's matinence required

I'd recommend getting that checked quickly to make sure no damage is being done

Auto parts stores will check the code for free threw the OBD port. Mait req is with milage and I don't think pre ODBII cars have that.

my last car if the CEL came on you could turn the ignition to ACC then back to OFF five times the CEL would start to blink, the amount of times that it blinked gave you the code. Does anyone know if Integra's have that.

OK Got tha code: DTC P0441 -EVAP Contol insufficient purge flow......What is this I got a write up about it from auto parts store but then i don't know what this means can anyone help with having the same problem?

Did you get them to clear the code? It might be okay if you do that. As long as your CEL isn't flashing. If it flashs DO NOT drive the car.

Cleared the code and kept on driving....it's come on one more time but hasn't since I cleared it again by resetting the ECU
