How accurate is CarFax

I found out some very good to know info from carfax, (I got the unlimited 30 day), but I noticed my dad's accord is a car with 70mi, and there is not mention of his $10,000 repair after hitting a deer

btw, deer season starts tomorrow, our highways will be safer again

umm, sort of they put the airbags and stuff back in, but sent it to another shop for body work

Yeah, not all is covered there. Especially, if the owner did not file insurance claim. It's more like a secondary check, rather than a primary check.
