Air Intakes
hi i wanna buy cold air intake but im not sure which ones are detachable ones i drive honda civic 1998 ex so if anyone knows any of the intakes please let me know. Thanks

do they make that kind of intakes for my car? i want it so i can get by pass valve just to make sure no water enters the engine

Oh yeah they have them, but I wouldn't waste the money on a bypass. They really don't help unless if the intake is FULLY submerged in water and you will have other problems than water in the motor.

so u say its useless on daily basis, but i still wanna get it u know during the winter u can make it into short ram and dont worry bout the snow

Snow isn't a problem either, but if it makes you feel a bit safer there is nothing wrong with being cautious.
