Ok. I was too young to remember car stuff that far back. I only started paying attention around 2002.

Before 98 they had one of the longest lasting cars on the road. Now times are changing and so is the economy.

So i just thought of another bad decision Honda has made... Putting their oil filters in a spot that is so hard to get at, you have to either be a midget or a string bean to get at it and change it with any efficiency

well on my 93 Civic si, and my friends old 89 CRX si, and his old 00 civic si, and his 01 integra gsr, and my other friends 95 integra ls, and anothers 94 del sol, and my other friends 89 prelude SH. I've been told it's the same on all other honda models too, though i've never talked to anyone with an accord.

All I gotta do is either turn my wheel all the way to the right or remove the passenger tire if I don't feel like laying on the ground. I could also pull it over the pit at my buddies shop lol

Ain't that the truth. Honda is integrating with American cars. And they are starting to get American car quality all there is to it. All car companies quality is starting to be the pits IMO. But, GM atleast has learned from their mistakes and they are slowly fixing some of their issues. But, I mean come on its like they just realized their cars suck GM's only had issues since mid to late 90's. As the economy falls so does the quality of cars. The thing that pisses me off is you get a suckier car but have to pay more for it..

Some of Honda's 6 speed transmissions are pretty problematic, but they did finally release a TSB to cover most of the affected transmissions in regard to the 3rd gear issue.

Really I have yet to hear from honda about that, when did this happen, 3rd gear is starting to get really annoying and I would love to get it fixed.
