Just watch out for iDrive. I've heard that is a huge mess.

Well went by this morning and drove the car again, can't get over how much new car smell it still has ...

I pulled the trigger and paperwork on the way.

Honestly I drove a few BMWs and while nice, they didnt handle that much better than this accord (which is nice and taught) , and at 90000+ in all cases the extra 2 grand is worth the peace of mind ...

Should be a good car for next 8 years or so ...

and yes ... 2000 to 2002 BMWs have chronic trans problems ... symptom is no reverse .. cure is $5K

I think you made a good choice. The Accord is around the same price as your looking for and also has a lot less miles then the bimmer does. When you get it though be sure to post pics up so we can see it

Good point. Plus, more mods on the Honda. Personally I love modding the car as it makes it more fun and fuels my gas passion. My cousin has a beautfiul M3 beamer. He can't tell the difference between his tranny and engine. I know my cars mileage and know exactly when something is wrong or feels off. But I'm a bit old school. Happy hunting.
Oh, ps- I'd stick my finger in the muffler, see if she has any emmission problems- dirty carbon deposits, smells of gas. Also, peek inside the valve cover- is it dirty- shouldn't be. with 15K miles you can;t go wrong. I'd go for teh stick personally. You can bleed power from teh engine more efficiently and you'll never worry about tranny issues.

The BMW is the car to drive for solid performance, but will cost way more in maintenance that you cannot avoid. It will probably end up costing you more than double the Accord in the first 2 years, and maybe about four times (or more) the maintenance costs of the Accord if you keep it past that.
That's just from what I have seen. Correct me if I'm wrong, guys.

I know the 2004 Accord Ex, my ex-gf had one which I drove alot. I agree with beater it feels like a much smaller car. And it has some bite to it. Remember all that since 2003 the JDM Accord type-r [stock], has beat every track time the JDM Civic type-r [stock] has put down. Now keep in mind that they have the same engine in japan. The Accord's chaisse is the secret. Don't believe me go search BMI's epidsode on the subject.
