neons?legal?

I know someone here in Mason that has this riced out eclipse with body kit, neons, and a big wing.. Girls won't ride in his car cuz its crap.. You may think differently but girls don't like ricers just as much as car guys don't.. And for most people they would flag your car rice cuz of the body kit and neons.. That would make you car all show and no go.. Now if your packing under the hood that could be another story they might not make fun of ya as much.. But my advice is don't put neon on it..Interior neon is okay but I hate neon on the outside in my personal opinion...

im with marcos in this one. neons look sweet cruisin' at nite. u dont have to be a boy racer. as for the girls side of things my missus loves them and im pretti sure u shouldnt have to use ur car to score man.

i had em in high skewl 2 so this is advice from someone in ur situation. as for breakages dont buy glass neon tubes obviously. i got thick plastic led ones. only time i had a breakage was when some idiot mechanic jacked the car up ON THE TUBE! (bonus with LEDs is that u can program the lights - mine pulse with my sub and get brighter with more engine revs etc)

If the colors are legal for them or not neons are a huge flag for cops. Most cops a muscle car heads for one thing and will do w/e it takes to try and take imports off the roads.. The cops will pull you over just to scare the crap out of you and give you some lame reasons to why they pulled you over... Believe me I know very well have been hassled by a local Sheriff...

i definately agree with dre5491. the only reason u have neons is to turn heads so naturally cops heads will turn with every1 elses. but its the same with straight thru exhausts, thumping music, ground scraping suspension and watever else makes cars fun. just gotta weigh up the options i guess.

as for the comment about all cops loving muscle cars i think its a bit of a generalisation. if uve got a big commodore or falcon v6\v8 over in aus with ANY mods ur pretti much guarenteed to lose ur licence, ive never even had a ticket and its not like i dont enjoi a good vtec-ing

and to me at least ....I used to have a camero and the cops havent changed one bit
when I had my camero I would always get pulled over for whatever reason they could find
and now with my civic its still the same thing haha
but I have noticed like on weekends and stuff that most of the cars that are pulled over by cops are all mostly hondas _Acuras_ and scions
so you could both be right on this one haha
