Default swappin heads and air manifolds

i have a d16z6 right now and i am wondering if i should swap the d16z6 head with my d16y8 head and if i should swap the d16y8 air manifold onto the d16z6. looking to gain power from this onto my d16z6 because i heard this would help.

I'd say swap the whole motor. It's only a bit more work than a head swap, and should be more-or-less plug and play. Plus there is less tiny, random crap to forget about when buying a whole engine, as opposed to a head.

B16 = more power, more time, and more money.
D16 = cheap, simple, low power.

The choice is up to you. I'd say build up a B16 and do all the prep before hand. Then spend a weekend dropping it in. HASport can help you out on that one.
