Recently, I got a Blox 74mm throttle body and intake manifold. However, the only thing the set did not come with is gaskets. The head gasket was an easy acquisition. However, I can't find a 74mm gasket for the throttle body.
Any suggestions? Do I dare try to modify a smaller gasket? I contacted the Blox dealer I bought it from and was told they don't carry gaskets. And the Blox website says nothing about gaskets for the TB. *word to the wise* Don't ever buy a TB unless it blatantly states that it includes gaskets. |

Ask Autozone or Pep Boys. Someone has to have one. Summit or JEGS might carry general gaskets in that size. If all else fails, look up places that sell gaskets, since they should carry one. Order a few so it's cheaper.
If you're good, you can make your own. Buy some gasket material and start cutting. Measure how thick your old gasket is and wide it is. Buy your material the same thickness and cut it to the same width. That would be your last result, but someone has got to have that gasket. Don't modify a smaller gasket. It won't seal correctly and will be tough to open out.
