Well by now you probly guessed the title is a joke... lol
So which body kit should I buy? (Click link for pics) Racing: Vision Omega Body Kit - Full Kit for 94-01 Acura Integra at Andy's Auto Sport Show: Vision Evo 5 Body Kit - Full Kit for 94-01 Acura Integra at Andy's Auto Sport -------------- My parents said, once I graduated, they would buy me any car... as long as it was cheap. Well since I had to scrap my 1990 Civic (See garage), I had decided to get an Acura Integra GS-R. That's what I told my parents what I wanted. My grandad (dad's side) is gonna give me $1,000 and I dunno what I'm getting from my grandparents on my mom's side, but I'm gonna get my long deserved B18C5 DOHC VTEC with that money and transplant that in the Teggy! So already knowing the car I'm gonna get, I'm either going Black, White or Blue, which is my main choice. I've started working on a pixel car to see what kind of parts I'm gonna use and what it's gonna look like on the car. Base: 1999 Acura Integra GS-R Paint: Voltage Blue (Factory for 1999) Wheels: Volk Racing TE37 - Titanium Gunmetal ![]() This is a work-in-progress... Updates to come... Please Comment! |

Do not buy from Andy's Auto Sport! I tried to buy my tailights and an antenna from them and waited for nearly a month before they shipped. The entire time, they kept telling me they no longer stocked this part or that part. They probably don't even have the kit you're asking for (it doesn't matter if the part's shown online).
Besides, most racers look down on body kits. I'm not one of those guys as long as the car is fast and the kit doesn't look like crap. Anb buy FRP or urethane. Fiberglass cracks really easily. Last edited by 8695Beaters; 12-19-2007 at 08:54 AM. |

Ya I know that... urethane is the way to go. You hit the curb, it'll just scratch and bounce back.
Did you check if the part was in stock before you bought it?? You probly bought something that was out of stock beforehand and then blamed them for your mistake. (No offence) My buddy went throught 2 cars (totalled both - drives his mom's minivan now) and both had body kits from Andy's. He and alot of other people I know buy parts from Andy's because he has almost always has most of his stock on sale price. Hope that didn't sound mean to ya, but just tellin you what's going on in my life. Anyways, if it was their fault, it was a once in a decade type thing, but I believe you bought on impulse and didn't check if the part was in stock before you bought it, and you bought something that was already out of stock. |

IMO the car looks better without a body kit unless its a lip kit or certain widebody kits.
Probably better to spend the money on a nice paint job (you would need one with the body kit anyways), some nice rims and tires maybe, or performance upgrades. Biggest downside to the body kit is it will probably kill your resale. If you have the extra money for the body kit and rims why not get a better car instead?
