I was under the impression that my fuel pump went bad but in reality I was out of gas. My fuel gage was showing 3/4 of a tank. Now that I have did all the labor got the fuel pump out. The fuel pump is fine but the float and signals was not being relayed to the fuel gage in my car. Anyone have any suggestions or may experienced any thing similar hit me up.

First make sure the float is intact by shaking it to make sure you dont have anything in there sloshing around. Test the float by holding it in some water...if you dont see bubbles it is not leaking so you will have to replace the fuel level sensor.
