Default air fuel ratio guage

does anyone know what color wire the purple wire on a autometer a/f ratio guage gets hooked up to thanx

what type of honda do you have. I know on my accord it was white/red striped wire going into the ecu.

An easier way is to get a wire schematic of the oxygen sensor and see which is the signal wire. It should change before the ecu to another color and thats pretty much what i did. Just checked with a multi meter before i did it.

it is all based on the type of o2 sensor you have. If you have a 3 pin then it goes on the wire that is not either white or black. If you have the 4 pin then it goes on the blue.

ok kool im gonna check n C if i have a 3 or 4 pin set up. sorry i didnt reply before hand i just got my computer set up after a move. thanks for ur help if anything ill ask

The gauge goes to your computer, not the O2 sensor. It's bling anyways and not accurate. You'll need a wideband (ie. AEM EUGO) Many people do it without problem, but when you hook it directly to the O2 sensor you risk fouling the sensor. In my 91 CRX there was only one wire, so it was easy. In my old EP civic it went to the green wire on a 4 pin sensor. Hopefully that gives you some help.
