Should i go to Honda for service and oil change or any service station does it make a difference and do you recommend synthetic oil

This is a tough one, for a regular old oil change if you decide not to do it yourself, there are some pretty respectable places that will do it in a few minutes (not sure of any in british columbia), but service is a little trickier, you want to go to a reliable place with people that know what they are doing, and above that are honest, otherwise you should bite bullet and go to a certified honda service center

I just go to honda, they clean the car for free, and if anything goes wrong they can take care of it.

for example, when my dad's accord went through the wash the front emblem popped off, they put in a new one for free, if I was at any other car wash that probably wouldn't have happened.

besides, for $25 (at my dealer) its not that expensive, and I get to complain about all the other problems my car has (its still under warranty)

If it had synthetic in it...keep using it. If it had conventional oil...keep using that. Do not convert from one to the other or your wallet will be mad at you!
