I'd say downforce is probally more important than weight (look at F1 cars), but I guess you are right about it having to not be super light. It looks like that car got messed up due to lack of downforce in the rear

Here is some more info on the Bugatti slayer.
It is about 20 mph faster than the Bugatti, it costs £360,000, which is about $500,000, and its 6.0 liter V8 twin-turbocharged engine has dual intercoolers. heres a pic of the engine: Barabus TKR takes over as world's fastest car? Also heres another site about the TKR. (which i got the pic and info from) Barabus TKR takes over as world's fastest car?

huh were is the...oh wait, holy ****, that whole thing is the engine, and those turbos look mean
I still have doubts of it being able to pull off its times as reliably as the Bugatti though. If someone would let me choose between them, if they were the same price I would probally go for the Bugatti, probally better reliability and design, car looks about 20 times better, and engine looks about 1000 times better. even with all that said, that still sounds like an insanely fast car, I hope top gear gets their hands on one soon

The Bugatti has almost topped out the technology right now. With it's weight and the best spec tires you can get it runs out of fule and the rotating weight will melt the tires. Melted tires at 100 is enough to kill you without a problem, but at 250 + you have no chance what so ever. Weight does play a huge factor. F1 has to be a specified weight to keep things even between the drivers, much like nascar. It improves acceleration greatly but I do doubt top speed will be affected, but at the rate you will be using fule it will be gone before you ever max the car out.

You know what just happened to me today? When i put the TKR on Wikipedia for the fastest car from 0-60 an hour or so later it was not there and more!?
Just look for yourself: List of fastest cars by acceleration - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Also i was the one who put the Caparo t1 there. Before the Bugatti was second with a 0-60 of 2.5 just like the caparo but then someone put the Bugatti's 0-60 as 2.46!? And it says that the Bugatti's 0-60 is 2.5!? (i think that Wikipedia doesn't like me or something) ![]()
