it's been raining in california lately, and yesterday i hit a pothole (sp?) and tore both my left tires open and chipped my rims, had to be towed home...

write california dot and send pictures. they will pay for your damage and fix the pot hole

This is great info, but maybe better for future use now, I've had my new wheels for a while now, and actually considering new rims.
