if the noise goes away when you push in your clucth it sound to me like a throw-out bearing problem

Here's what mine does:

When I start going, ESPECIALLY when I get into higher RPMs in 1st gear, my car makes a serious rattling noise (not the body, it sounds like it's the clutch or something). It really sounds loud when I'm turning and accelerating, and makes the rattling noise in second as well. I don't really hear the noise in 3rd or 4th gear.

Here's what the mechanics claimed it to be:

A noisy clutch release bearing. Nothing that will cause damage or is broken, but it is simply an annoying racket.

Their solution:

They added a Lucas product (not positive, but I believe it was "Lucas Transmission Fix"). It hasn't made a big difference yet, but they said it would take up to 10,000 km of driving for it to kick in...

...I don't know how severe your problem is, but if yours is anything like mine....check to make sure your transmission fluid isn't low, or add some Lucas into the mix.

Lucas Oil

Yea Thats The Throw-out Bearing Its Not A Major Problem Its Just Annoying To Listen To If You Plan On Fixing It I Would Just Go For The Whole Clucth Kit
