Exclamation Transmission

I recently bought a second hand 98 civic vti automatic transmission. I noticed that it takes too long for the transmission to shift to a higher gear! does this mean that the transmission needs to be replaced?

Try getting your transmission fluids flushed, this is sometimes the cause for delayed gearing.
