Default induction

Hey guys what make or manufacturer induction kit would you advise for an accord sir box, was thinking maybe j's racing carbon, what about an aem v2, or Standard Airbox with the resonator removed and cold air feed and the spoon direct airflow pipe with a Monster Sport panel filter.

from your experience what would be good and what would be crap

There are a lot of good choices out there! AEM does make a good intake. I personally have the V2, but honestly...I am not sure how much HP difference I made over the old intake b/c of all the other mods I put on in between. I will say, be careful about cold air intakes...especially if you live in a area of rainy seasons, flooding, etc. With cold air intakes, they air filter is put low to the ground, in front of the engine, and a lot of times ends up sucking up water into the engine. Not a huge difference in power between cold-air and shorter intakes.

Just shop and compare bro!

I wrote an article on intakes a while ago:

Intakes and filters

please at least skim the pro's and con's and leave whether it was any help, or if you have any more questions
