Default AEM intake systems

Whats the idffrence between V2 aem intakes and regular cold air intakes? is it worth the 45+$? Also is AEM just as good as k&n and injen? or is it better?

The V2 is designed specifically for Hondas. It is supposed to work best when matched with DC Sport's exhaust and headers. AEM is CARB approved and K&N is not. Unless you live in Cali (or Virginia apparently), CARB certification really doesn't matter.

I say. Its all aluminum pipe and a cone filter. I'd go with a little bit cheaper brand. I as well like the Secret Weapon R's if its the one that has a removable pipe like thing going from the filter down to where it can get more air flow. If you can find that one I suggest get it. That way your intake doesn't suck in a puddle of water and screw up you engine.
