any cheaper substitute for dyno-mat? - HondaClub.com

hey i'm just wondering if there's anything out there that's cheaper than dyno mat, but does the same thing... i lined the inside of my trunk with carpet, and even though i think it improved the bass response, my trunk rattles even more now...so anybody know anything i could use?

Cork sheets will do the same thing...

usually used to deaden the noise in a model railroad layout...but can be a little difficult to shape...

Lol thats what I say it must be a old timer thing :-P.. But seriously what are cork sheets.. I'd try the Boom mat out and if it works good tell all your friends about it and give me some feedback so I know if its safe or not..

ever seen one of those things in an office with push pins in it to hold up notes and stuff...well it is made of a sheet of cork...you know the same thing in a wine bottle...anyways its about 1/16th of an inch thick and an excellent sound deadener...

ooo lol but ive never seen just sheets of it any where all i have seen is the boards how would you get it break apart one of the boards and take the sheet out?
