A factory Honda hood would run around the same price of a Carbon Fiber hood. Then you have to add approximately $200 to paint it. So you would probably be looking a little higher for a painted stock hood.

Yeah. I had a CF hood on my 95 civic and the clearcoat only lasted for about a year. I expected more from NOPI but from what I hear it doesn't matter the brand. They all use the same worthless gel coat.

They all will fade in time depending on where the car is stored out of the sun will tell you how long it will last.
