I really like VIS and Seibon and if they use crappy clearcoats then I will just not get a hood.

Well I guess that makes me CF H8R #1 then...cause I am not pee-ing off 550 for something that is new but still needs work...

well if you tack on another 150 you could say 700 and other people have paid more for less in a mater of speaking.

yeah but 700 I can get the fenders, front and rear lips and the spoiler...paint them to match my car and have enough left for a gallon or two of gas...

I mean just put on a good clear coat...then I wouldnt mind paying 700 for a hood...but when you pay 550 and then still need 150 worth of work...f@%& no!

I understand where you're coming from, If you pay that much money for something, you expect it to come ready to go. But think bout it this way, if you buy a regular or fiberglass hood you'd still have to do prep work, paint and clearcoat it, right?
