Default What's the best way?

Just got a lame ticket for having my windows tinted...it sucks I know, anyway. Does anyone know the best way for removing window tints?

Use a razor blade. Cut a notch onto the upper area of the film so that you have a piece to pull. Try to peel the film, it will probably come off in two or three pieces. Spray the remaining adhesive with soapy water, and scrape the adhesive off with a razor blade, avoiding the edges of the glass until last to keep the blade sharp. You may need to use a few blades as they dull quickly. Finish up with window cleaner and paper towels. Inspect for missed glue (its clear and hard to see)

the tint should just pull right off (in many small pieces), but then theres all the GOOP, autozone sells a tint remover spray that works pretty well. good luck

Thanks guys, actually took care of this sometime back, I removed the tint itself with a single edge razor blade, and removed tried to remove all the goop left behind with the stuff from autozone, the mix itself is really just water and denatured alcohol, it doesn't really work too well, I personally recommend using accetone to clean up the windows.
