What's this key hole for? - HondaClub.com

I have never owned a honda before but recently purchased a 93' del sol. There is a key hole in the back behind the seats can anyone tell me what this is for?

it's to let down your rear seats. Just stick your ignition key in there and turn

well bro, i have a Sol also, and to my experience is to lock your stuff, if ur Sol is all factory you should have two little compartments, u put the key, turn it and it should lock your compartments. hope im right. lol

Haha nice one racer. Yea its to lock your back storage boxes. When I first got my sol I thought it was for the back window haha.

Cat back that's what I thought it was for at first too but then nothing happened when I turned the key that was why I wanted to know what it was for. Thanks you guys!
