i need some help.. i bought a 91 ef si hatch with a b16a swap. the car is definetly lagging! the guy told me thats becuz the ecu is the stock one for that car.. he gave me a p28 ecu and when its in, the car starts but cuts off.. any1 think they can help?

A P28 runs a D16, not a B16. That would be your problem. It's possible that your engine is a worn out dud, since JDM motors never come with a guarantee. Someone who gave you a wrong ECU might be foolis enough to buy a worn out engine.
