Default Del Sol Turbo

I think that I'll be looking into a B16a2 engine swap, although I'm not sure from where yet, passwordJDM seems to have good packages.

Along with the B16a2, I'm thinking about a turbo, since it is much less expensive than NA.

The problem is that I'm having trouble finding a kit that will work with the A/C, and that will work with PA emmisions testing. Does anyone know of a kit that will fit those requirements, and how much it would take to install?

The AC is going to be your biggest problem. IMO. Passing emissions will be a challenge as well due to having to run rich in a turbo car. You can't be totally legal and fast at the same time.

A Greddy system should be legal, but will it work with AC?
The Drag Turbo Kits fit with AC but are not street legal.

Is there a way to make a kit work with an ac, or make it street legal?

The Greddy kit is 50 state legal and will work with AC

I also saw the Vortech SC Kit, its $4300, but it gets 277 HP
The Greddy TC gets 244 HP and is $4000

I've heard that SCs are better than TCs for daily drivers, and they have no lag, so I'm assuming that the Vortech would be a better kit.

btw, will the kits for the 99-00 Civic Si fit in a del sol with a B16a2 swap?

They might fit. Call Greddy again and ask is my advice. A modderatly sized turbo will have very little lag. Lag is produced while 'over heating' the turbo past the point of daily driver abuse. If you go to the track and race let your engine cool off after a run and no more the 2 runs at least. Both chargers need a brake in period so be very careful with that.

password I have herd good things about but I dont advise going to osaka motors unless you have everything els for the swap, mine didnt come with an intermidiate shaft, ECU or the right exhaust manifold. As for the turbo, if you want legal with least hastle and most power...Eddlebrock is awsome, it comes with litteraly everything and is leagal 50 state, power...full race no doubt man.

The greddy and Edelbrock both are carb legal and a/c compatible, does anyone have experience or reviews on them. The Edelbrock is about $1000 more.
