Distributor Shock - HondaClub.com

I touch the bolt that holds distributor on d15b while running and got a hell of a shock and its not cracked, engine not missing can anyone help

It's probably just charged. That thing is igniting an explosion in your engine, so it's putting out a lot of voltage. Never work on an engine that is running, you are only asking for trouble.

Could be a bad ground or could be a short in the distributor.

I'd go for the bad ground myself....but beaters is right, don't work on it while its running. As you already know....its enough voltage to hurt you.
