Im getting ready to swap my d15 single cam for b18 gsr motor. Thebottom end has been built completle. Sleeved, pistons, etc... I'm just wanting to get some advice now so i don't run into problems later. Any advice would be great. This is also going to be my first swap.

yeah, pretty much everything. Wiring im not sure of yet. Not positive of what new motor and trans comes with. But axles i know are going to be changed. Just wondering if there are any problems or custom work im going to have to do. I have access to a full race shop with everything on hand. Is it possible to just have my ecu flashed or is it better to just go with a new ecu, like hondata or something?

I guess just get the wiring and a P28. everything bolts pretty much smooth. and I cant quite remember if the linkage from the stick to the transmission is the same. if its not then you might need that one too. I really can't remember. I know the D15b7 and a D16z6 are not the same. oh and if you have a d15b7 (you just said d15).you might need to do vtec with a button if you dont change the ECU. P05 I thinkis the one for the D15.
I might be wrong so hopefully someone can correct me if I am. |
