I just recently bought a 1996 honda civic and well I need ideas for the best name brands that I can buy from. Like the basics control arms, wheels, chairs, wiring for a B16A2 swap, gauges, turbos, intercoolers, body kits, and anything u can think of.
Thanks, Cooper |

Are you wanting to do absolutely everything to your car? We may want to start with specific sections to see the pluses and minuses. What are your goals with the car?

well so far i have a B16A2 swap in my car but the person that put it in didnt put it in right. So first where i could find a new wiring harness on my car? Then i put new coil overs on my car. but thats it so far. Also basically all my electric is terrible. So I need to fix it all sadly. So if u have any idea oh which brands i should buy from and websites i should use. Also the swap is from a 2000 si.

hmm, well, I'm not too experienced with wiring...but we've got a couple of mods on here that are, so they can probably help with that.
As far as accessories go, if you buy brand names, ebay is a good place, just stay away from the cheap stuff. www.jcwhitney.com NOPI MOTORSPORTS Summit Racing - High Performance Car and Truck Parts | 800-230-3030 those are all good general places to start. Then you can narrow down the brands and go from there. This is what I know.... Wheels-Konig or Motegi, Axis, BBS, Enkei, Volk/Rays Engineering Seats-Recaro, Corbin Intake-AEM, DC Sports, Injen, K&N Exhaust-Magnaflow, Apex'i, Greddy, Megan Suspension-Skunk 2, Function Four, Tein, Eibach, H&R, Sprint, Ground Control Turbo-This depends on what kind of setup you want to run, but AEM makes some killer management devices, Apex'i makes some too I believe Supercharger-depends on what direction you want to go with, but Jackson Racing makes some kits All of those brands have some pluses and minuses, and I have NOT used them all, but I've heard good and bad things about all of them. These are just places to start looking. You could also search for some of the brands on this forum and see what other people think just in case they can't get back to you on your thread. Good luck with your build up! |
