Somebody give me a gun, please. I think that is the ugliest thing to come out of Honda ever. And those specs? The RSX-S makes more power. I thought one of the criteria for Type-R status was more power. Sorry, but Honda's turned the Type-R into a joke.

I'm going to assume that those two are the new models??? like 08/09 model? because the body style hasn't changed since '05. Even the Type R body hasn't changed. the Type S has the same body as every other civic hatch like that in Europe.
I agree with Beaters, that is not a Type R. Don't know if i can coin a new term or not but it's worth a shot. . . .. . . Fype-R (fake type-R) or Fake-R

yeah it is 08

on more thing is they cant make it so powerfull because of gas milage and keep it in mind that in europe they pay 4 times as much as we pay here of a gallon but anyway it should have some more hp because now its like an avarage car with way too high price

not to mention that the Type R is only going to be marketed in the UK! I'm sure the Type S will filter down to the rest of the EU.
IDK, I think that it's the changing times, fuel prices, governmental pressure to up MPG we are going to see a decrease in performance. Even with that said, i don't think i could fathom paying 50K for that Type R
