I posted a thread about my car surging at idle. Prime Time suggested that it was probably the air idle control valve. He also suggested cleaning it instead of replacing right away.I finally got time to take it off
(2min.) Anyways I cleaned it throttle body cleaner and a toothbrush then put it back on. I had some initial sputtering upon starting the vehicle, then drove around for about an hour. Its about 90degrees today and high humidity, which was prime weather for my idle speed to drop to 300rpms, but it idled fine at every stop, a consistant 700rpms. So I really just want to say thank you Prime Time, you saved me from having to spend about 200 dollars that I dont have And I want to thank you for all the help you have given since I joined HondaClub, you always have helpful information and you are never a d#%k about it |

No problem bro. We are always here to help. I know 1t make same feel good when I can help a person on a budget get there car rolling while saving a few bucks. I know how it is to DIY for about $5 when a mechanic wants $200.
