If I remember right, your module is on your distributor. If you take the cap off, it should be the black box with 1 or 2 pigtails running to it. If its not under the cap, it will be mounted next to your coil. To get it tested, take it to a parts store (I used to work at Advance, I know they do it) and look for someone that actually knows what the part is that you're trying to test (you wasted time and gas if you get someone who doesn't know what they're doing). When they hook it up to test it, make sure they test it enough times that the module warms up....it actually might be better if you let them hook up the machine, and you test it about 10-15 times. Its pretty beneficial if they tap the module on the counter while testing it to simulate its real world driving environment. The machine is easy to use, you just hook up the pigtail (or the wire harness) to your module, and press the start button.

But I can't stress enough, find someone that knows what they're doing!!!

Oh, if it turns out bad, that part may have come with the distributor you purchased, it might be under warranty....but you'll have to replace the entire distributor instead of just the module.
