Ok, whats the difference b/w the suspension on the 88 and the 85 CRXs? I want to lower mine, but noone seems to offer the springs. I'm probably just going to put some cheap coilovers on....but only if they'll fit. Can someone point me in the right direction?

The '85 uses a basic MacPherson strut suspension up front (like the RSX, 240SX, B13 Sentra). The rear is probably some kind of torsion beam axle (like the B17 Sentra and MKV GTi). The '88 uses Honda's brilliant double wishbone suspension up front (also used on the '88-'01 Civic, the '87-'09 Accords and every Integra) and a combo of trailing arm and wishbone suspension in the rear. So no, anything from the newer CRX will not fit. Springs maybe, but coilovers no. Most people ignore the earlier CRXs because of the poor engine and suspension combinations, so parts will be scarce. Ebay might help you out if you're lucky.
